Just noticed this thread and it made me a little sad. My wife and I have had a beagle/shephard mix for the past 8 years, we adopted him from the local shelter. He was a stray and turned out to be the best dog I have ever had, we just had a new baby and he was great with him right from the start...

I'm heading over to a local carnival tonight, just in case they have the pool table set up anyone got some tips on how to win the game. I tried last year and finally quit after $30. I thought it would be easy to make 3 balls but between the table, the cue and the tiny pockets I couldn't get it...

Nice space Fox, I am looking for something darker though. My table is oak, very light in colour, think blonde.

Can any of you tell me what causes an object ball to skid. It has happened to me a few times but I haven't been able to figure out the constant that is causing the skid. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just didn't want to start a new one.

The "Custom Pool Room" thread is definitly my favorite. Had a great time watching that room come together and the craftsmanship and work ethic displayed was amazing.
