The rubbers you purchased had too much filler in them and not 100% rubber. It's a big job installing rubbers and not really worth going cheap.

Ive I've never had any issues using 3M 90. The slight curvature of the rails is a non issue

With the GC2 Formica / Laminate. You simply can't heat the Formica and peel it off unfortunately. With the GC3's yes you can. With the GC1 and 2 they used some kind of really really strong glue so you have to sand it off. There is a thread somewhere on here on how to get a machine to slowly...

I've seen this video before. Unfortunately I'm not impressed at all by the way he installs the cloth. Particularly with the rail cloth install. He does use a Starrett level so thumbs up for that (y) Peace :):):)

RKC did a post on how to adjust the pocket castings with a screw method. Regarding the side rails not aligning properly, the rails have a lot of movement in them for adjustment. Almost every table I dissemble the tables have not been installed correctly especially the side rails. Go to one end...
