I have considered doing this. With no knowledge of what it would be, seems like a fun idea. The only input I'd give if I did it is the shaft thickness, tip diameter, taper, and length and leave the rest up to them and just say "Build me something nice."

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experience with retapping the pin on a carbon shaft. Does it change how it plays or not? Just something I was curious about, I'm looking to have the joint changed on a carbon fiber shaft.

I agree with this. I have felt Diveney's cues and they are good hitting cues.

Literally just if I could get an extension or the butt measurements for an extension and if they could do a hoppe ring with a bumper on it.

If money isn't an option I would also go with something nice, maybe not super expensive custom. But, there is a lot of mass produced cues that are real solid. I would get one and maybe throw a carbon shaft on it, carbon fiber is just easier to learn to aim with in my opinion.
