Thanks Bigd3, I appreciate it buddy and agree with you totally. I do know of 1 real nice 'box' cue that I would like to buy to start off my collection, but of course it's on the back burner for now until I can get things straight.

I don't know who coined the idea of a break cue, but I did have a book by the late great Steve Mizerak and in the "Equipment" chapter of the book, he mentioned that the purpose of the break cue was so that it would save alot of hardening and excess wear on the cue tip of a normal playing cue...
