    Brunswick Centennial question

It's my understanding that Centennial and Aramith Super Pro balls are identical--both made by Aramith--except that (at least in the eyes of some)the former are "prettier".

    Nielsen's Contact Info

I want to contact Nielsen's but my eBay acct is messed up so I can't do it that way. I think he posts here but don't know his handle. Anyway, contact info would be appreciated.

    Nitti Cues

I have two, one with a phenolic joint and one with ivory. Both great hitting cues--not super "hard". I think Nitti's are one of the few bargains left in custom cues.

    Best 8-footer under $5K

I would appreciate any advice on the best value in an 8-footer for under $5000. I want a drop-pocket table, and it can be perfectly "plain"--it will be for playing, not ornamentation. I'm thinking maybe Olhausen. Thanks.

    Best 8-footer

My cheapie 8-ft. table (don't have room for a bigger one, regrettably) is about to give up the ghost. I'm looking for a top-quality replacement. Don't care about quality of "furniture" or other aesthetics, just playability (it will be in an unfinished basement). Suggestions, likely cost and...

Need a shaft that will fit my Bender

Good luck. I dont think any other current maker uses Bender's pin--though I believe Omega/DPK did (not surprising, since Bender started out there).

    al romero sneaky pete

I got one for $180 a year or so ago, but I think he gave me a break because of delay in finishing the cue. Mine hits great.

I have a couple of his cues from several years ago and they're really nice, but he has taken his work to a whole new level lately.

How to buy a custom cue

Roy definitely does things his own way, but I've never found him to be anything other than totally honest. If you're going to make that kind of trip, you ought to get him to tell you what he has on hand.

for all you tulip wood lovers, tell me what you think!

To each his own, but IMHO, too much of a good thing.

New pool room in Columbus HAD potential.

I was there about a year and a half ago, and thankfully they had recovered the tables in green. I think it's closed now, tho.
