This looks like a fun tournament. I hear the Windy City Open may not happen this year so this would be a good alternative.

I think you'll see a different team this year, even though it's many of the same guys. When you see you see Shane and Rodney's World Cup matches on TV soon you'll see that they had some great chemistry and camaraderie and I think that will carry on to the rest of the team this year.

Shane Manole I might be bias because he knocked me to the losers side in the 3rd round last night but Shane Manole seems to be playing pretty well. He broke & ran 4 of his breaks against me. He plays Chen this morning on the winners side.

I got in last night and went by the poolhall...All the tables are in great shape, they look newly refelted. I'm not a fan of tournaments that play on 2 different brands of tables but they all seem to be playing well so I can't complain :) I do love all the diamond tables they put in though!

Brandon is playing REALLY strong lately. It's good to see him playing so many tournaments.

I am definitely going to stop by and check them out this week. I LOVE my OBCue so I'm interested to see the difference with the new shaft.

A-Tex does that type of stuff as well. I know they do that frequently but it may just be for the brands that they sell. YOu could call Moe at the north store and find out, he handles most of their billiards stuff.

I agree...there are several female APA sl7's in my area but all have quit playing APA and moved to BCA. I quit playing apa a few years ago when I was a 7 in 8ball and an 8 in 9ball...it became too difficult for all the women I play with to stay under the 23 SL limit. We now plan in open BCA leagues.

I agree, she's a great ambassador for the sport so I'm not at all suprised that the membership voted to keep her on board, I would have too :)
