Would you tell your opponent they are shooting the wrong ball???

It really depends on the situation. If I feel that my opponent would tell me (if I was to do something so foolish) then I will tell them. In general the only person I wouldn't tell is the blow hard that is always mouthing off(you know the guy). It would not matter to me if it was a tourney or a...

    Cell Phones in Pool Rooms??

I carry a small mp3 player and noise cancelling ear-buds in my case for times that it just gets to noisey. Although it is rare, at least I know it's there. Sometimes when using it, I get into my own world, have missed announcents and such, but not usually a big deal. Also I don't get to hear the...

Would you buy a 10ft pool table?

When I was younger I used to practice on a 5x10 snooker table. I would play nine ball with regulation sized balls. It made the triple shimmed Gold Crown pockets look huge. I still practice with big balls on the snooker table when I have the chance. I would get one if I could.

    Squirt/Deflection On This Shot

This is exactally what I assumed also Fred. Well, you know what they say about assumptions. I thought it was coming from someone who was actively associated with Dr. Cue. Now that it's been cleared up, I also apologize if sounded harsh. Keep postin them shots DRCP, I am sure that it is...

    are you a strickland fan??

Gotta chime in. Earl is one of a kind and one of the best ever for sure. I remember watching him and Mike Siegel kill everybody for years. They were my idols. So I Have to say I like him. I do not necessarily agree with him, but hell who cares? He was and is a great player and there is much...

What is up with the eight ball!

My best advice would be... Roll a group of balls on the table(stripes or solids) with the 8 ball, I usuallly do all and play against myself-I never win.;) If you want, make sure none are on rail, or tied up(I usually don't make a big deal of this as I like to try break-outs). Run the rack...

Player Ratings and Levels...Where are you???

Based on this system, I would have to honestly rate myself as a high 3. I have been a 5, but now a consistant 3 -4 would be fair. Someday would like to be 6, but that is a long time away. I stopped playing for 2 1/2 yrs. Picked it back up 3 months ago, and that is where I am.

    Short Draw Shots

If I was facing this shot. I would be happy with (and aim for)position at any of those letters. I would also be OK with just a stop shot and the cut the 9, if that is what I had to face next(just make the ball). What about a touch of follow to get on the other side(close to siderail)? That would...
