Pictures from Joss Tour in Quincy, Massachusetts

Congratulations to Mike Davis for winning the $5,000-added Joss Tour tournament. He was the defending champion from last year's Quincy tournament on the Joss tournament trail, and he won it again this year! Here's a few pictures taken this past weekend in Quincy, Massachusetts! :) Keith's...

    just wondering Keith

Nomoney, Pat Fleming does not make anybody sign anything, to my knowledge. Accu-Stats has been around for a long time. They are the pioneer when it comes to bringing some of the best pool in the form of DVD's and videos to the public. Pat and Accu-Stats have always treated the players well...

    Wanted for Unconscious Shooting

Chris, I like Sander Tot a lot. He's a real funny guy and a nice guy to be around. We've never played in a tournament or gambled, not saying I would want to either. He plays that good, a real straight shooter. He's capable of hitting you with some packages. Haven't seen Sandor in a...

Your Input Is VERY Valuable & Important!

Hi, Tom. Appreciate your kind words. I've been following the thread with great interest. Stevelomako kind of hit the nail on the head, in my opinion, in that most rooms -- and I emphasize "most" -- buy their equipment in bulk with the intention of providing a playing field for their everyday...

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS - Red Circle OR Blue Circle ???

Tom, I would rather play with the blue circle myself. It sort of reminds me of a big cue ball on the bar table. Those red-circle cue balls are garbage, in my opinion. There's certain players that grew up on the red circles, and it is the cue ball of their choice. I got into a conversation...

    breaking cue tip

Thanks, Flex, for upping this thread about tips, and to all who replied. I just picked up a Shannon Daulton break cue made by South East called "The Cannon," as shown below. I've only used it a few occasions, but plan on putting it in action this weekend at the Joss Tour in Quincy. :)

    Wanted for Unconscious Shooting

I know that many folks will be going to the magnificant Midwest Expo/Open that will be held October 6-10 -- Midwest Expo/Open website -- and I expect to hear a full report! :) For those who are unable to attend the Midwest Expo/Open, if you are in the vicinity of Quincy, Massachusetts, there...

    Mark Tadd

If I was ever to play Mark, that would have been my choice of tables to play on. He wouldn't have asked for weight, but I believe on a bar table, he would have needed it. On a 9-footer, we'd play even. Last time I saw him was in Las Vegas. He was over 200,000 winner playing poker, blew it...

    Who is with Buddy Hall?

I've known Blackie for a long time. He used to love to play pay ball over there at Billiard Palace in Belflower, a pretty good one-pocket player as well. If you get to know him, he's really a funny guy. Him and Buddy have been friends for a long, long time. When I saw him at the Carolinas...

    Game against Buddy Hall

2003 U.S. Open TheBook, I always try to have a couple of beers before I play. It relaxes me and sort of takes a little bit of the jitterbugs out. The match you're referring to, I didn't play that well in that match, but I did happen to pull it out. Buddy didn't play that well either. It was...

Hey, Keith do you miss your prime?

Believe it or not, Jack, I try to think of myself still in my prime, no more, no less -- especially not less (ha-ha). I probably don't play as much as I used to because the action isn't like what it used to be. :D I do sort of miss some of the guys I used to gamble with, but I try to make...

For anybody who hasn't seen Piggy Banks play, you are in for a treat! It's good to see Nick Varner out and about again. Looking forward to hearing about all of the festivities. Eydie and Bob Romano keep bringing the best of the best, and this pool world is a little brighter because of folks...
