Open invite for action in Casper WY...

This is an open invitation for action in Casper Wyoming. Anyone ever traveling through this area for a tournament or work is invited for some friendly sets. $50-$100 sets of 8,9 and 10 ball, or 14.1. I am posting this because I want to make my game better and competition is the key for this. I...

    Balls bounce

Ball bounce? This can be due to excess wax on the nose of the rail. Try this, clean the nose of your rails with a moist cloth like you would the bed. Let it dry and try again. Even try cleaning a ball (spare ball) with soap an water add a very little wax (slick car wax like carnuba) and see if...

    Daytona info needed

Pool near Daytona Browns is the place to play according to the locals. However, action is hard to come by unless you call ahead and tell the bar tender you are looking for action. I go there when I visit my parents once a year. They have GC 9'. Mostly in good shape but some are not up kept...

Page 5 diagram for leveling a 3 piece slate...

Does anyone have the page 5 diagram to the sticky thread of leveling a 3 piece slate. There used to be a better image posted but it is no longer visible. Or can someone tell me where the numbers start on each side. Example R1 to R13 and L1 to L13. I can rewrite my own diagram if I know if the...

a thank you to CJ Wiley

CJ is a great teacher... CJ worked hard to spread his weath of knowledge to the pool world here on AZ. I am bummed that he has been run off as I have learned more from his posts than anything else. He was spreading real, practical knowledge that has been tested under fire. These were things...

What balls to keep on the table?

I am looking for some advice on what balls are best left on the table while clearing a table on route to the break ball. What balls would be strategic to leave to maneuver around the rack? I read somewhere that a ball left near the long rail about one to two diamonds up from the corner pocket...

    Moving/sliding a 3 piece table

Same question here... I have the same question as the poster. I have a GC3 and it seems if i can lift it evenly between the legs under the cross braces I should be able to move it sideways a short distance (10-20 inches).

14.1 Challenge: Niels Feijen (NL) v Iva Aarts (NL) game to 1000 pts.

Youtube stream... This was great. Neils was on 200++ run, I paused it to see him finish and the video is gone (private). Bummer, I hope we get to see this again! Any other links? I checked OrangeForks productions on Vimeo but to no avail.

Pro level players that post frequently on this forum?

CJ Wiley used to post... A while back CJ Wiley was posting a lot. What happed to CJ on AZ? I learned so much from all the little nuggets of wisdom that came from his posts. Did the trolls push him away? I think he had more effective information to offer than an anyone else posting.

    Practicing for the criticle shot...

My question for all those out there is how can you prepare for that pressure ball in the practice room? I recently was playing in a big match, hill/hill, it came down to the last ball for the win. I got a little out of line on the shot, but a makeable match ball and missed due to the pressure...

    Best ivory ferrule alternative?

Sounds interesting since i've been using TOI full time for a year and a half and i like high deflection. I love the super hard aluminum bat hit of my Motty and want to keep that hit.

    Best ivory ferrule alternative?

What is the best ivory ferrule alternative? I tired of replacing my cracked ferrules on my Paul Motty over the years. In my opinion ivory has no place on the perfomance end of a cue. They are a throw back to the old days and modern materials just seem better. I am looking for a material...
