Another variation on marking

Here is a picture of how some are marked.

There were several series of cues that Joss made for Nick Varner. Many of them have “Joss for Nick Varner World Champion” on them.

This is the cover of the custom series catalog I am referring to. There was more than 1 catalog that said custom series on it.

There were/are several variations It was listed as the N7 in the custom series catalog. Had spears between the points. Was also in the A series catalog without spears between the points. Listed as the N7 in the A series catalog as well. Photos in this post were from the custom series catalog.

I have examples of both with and without notched diamonds. The white letter cues came out in the early 1980’s. Gold letter started in the late 1980’s

The Joss is likely a model 18 or J-18. The N7 was a later version.

Long joint screw makes me think it could be an It’s George. I have one with a noticeably long joint screw. I have not yet seen a Joss with metal rings at the joint collars. I am not saying they don’t exist
