Hi Joey,
I have a 9ft Diamond and one bank in particular that comes out much shorter is a 2 railer which comes up often in 1 pocket. When you are hitting the object ball up table and it goes 2 rails toward your hole.
A Brunswick will go longer than the Diamond.
There are a few more banks also...
I'll be there for the team 9ball(platinum) and team 8ball(gold).
Will be there from the 24th to 29th.
Not playing singles this year because I'll be back up for APA Masters in a few weeks.

I think today's games will be the key.
The 1st day Dennis was not doing well.
The 2nd day he played better but still not to potential.
If Dennis can play to his potential today and get the score within 2/3 games, it will be a great finish.
On the other hand, if Tony keeps getting super...
As I recall, DO was down the first day of the Scott Frost match also. He made some adjustments and we all know the outcome of that....
I believe you will see a different match from here out.
Dennis will play better :)
To me it doesn't matter what time of year it's held...except during December. I work for the US Postal Service and getting time off in December requires a note from the Funeral home.
My kids are grown so no big deal about summer vacation. As for the heat in Vegas during the summer? It seems to...
Don't get us started on an aiming system.....eeek!
But seriously, I think he was just referring to shifting his hand on the cue before he got ready to shoot.
I don't think he is referring to slip-stroke or back hand engrish....
Another thing to take into consideration....
What are the players skill level. Are you both 500 Fargo or are both of you around 600 Fargo?
With lower rated players if you try to give up the wild 8, it could be disastrous. But for a higher rated set of players, the wild 8 is no big deal.
There...
These are tournaments.....hang out at the pool hall and you will see their characters.
In a tourney the players are on their best behavior. Get some of these guys in a pool hall and it's a different story.
Just depends on the players.
If you are winning each set by a score of 9/8, mo adjustment should be made.
If you are winning 9/1 or 9/3 each set, well, an adjustment needs to be made.
In gambling there is no set rule, just wing it.
Pay attention to your grip. Keep it semi loose at all times. Do NOT tighten your grip on your final stroke, this will throw off your aim.
Another common mistake, people tend to start standing up too soon. Stay down until the ball hits the back of the pocket.
Last year I was on a Platinum team for 8ball, very disappointed about only 14 teams.
This year I put together a Gold team so we could have many more matches to play. Not to mention better chance at bigger payday.....
Speaking of lifetime warranties....
I have a Predator 314 that I purchased new about 11/12 years ago. The ferrule had a hairline crack inside, you could see it under good light.
I emailed Predator and was told to send it in (Michigan) and the replacement would cost $45 for the ferrule plus cost...
Lyn,
As it is with many good players, they prefer not playing in tough tournaments.
Both of these guys should be in the Platinum division, or what they called Masters before.
They took the easier cash from a lower rated field and now they do not want to play at their true level. That's fine.
I'm...
Some of the early "red" labeled tables had this issue, almost like playing on a pinball machine. Most were fixed so they would play normal.
If this was a newer "blue" label, I would say something was wrong.
Maybe Glen "RealKingCobra" could chime in on this. He would know what the problem is for...
That would be a legal shot in all leagues. BCAPL, VNEA, APA and ACS. I probably missed a couple other ones.
Bar rules: ah that's a different horse. They can be almost anything that the local players dream up.....good luck
