Definitely not - the physics are the opposite. Either the CB was actually lighter, or something else was different (e.g., the cloth was slicker, the CB was polished, or you were hitting the CB lower than usual).

I think AtLarge has posted stats like that for many tournaments, both 7 foot and 9 foot. I’m sure there are differences, but since both players are playing on the same table, if run outs are easier on table A, that should apply to both players. I don’t think you are necessarily an anomaly...

I like traditional, but even the traditional TV balls (pink 4b rather than purple) is okay with me. I hate the skittle balls Diamond was using, but the ones at the World 9b are worse. A purple 5b! Some players admitted to shooting the 5b out of order in practice, because it “should” be the 4b.
