Looing for a Brunswick Gold Crown Pro 8 Table

Hey all, how are we doing... I'm looking for a Pro 8 foot Brunswick Gold Crown table in good condition. I wanted a 9 foot, the 8 will do just as good, and I'll have more room. My preference is a Gold Crown. I live in Rhode Island. I do have my eye on one in Ohio, but it's a ride from here...

    Hey there Keith

Thanks Keith...Like I said before I really like your style of play and looseness at the table and the way you make the cue ball defy physics! I'm most intrigued by your side arm stroke. I will most ceertainly introduce my self to you and will probably have a ball for you to sign. A few years...

    Pool or Snooker, whose best.

I Disagree Sonia...Sorry I think you need a lesson on stroke and follow through...A golfer swings through the ball as a pool player shoots through the object ball. WE and them do not swing/shoot at the ball! Can you hit a long drive by hitting at the ball, or can you hit the rack hard shooting...

    Toughest Shot Survey

I think straight shots are tougher, and they are a good practice tool. Like when Mosconi shows his drill in the straight shots...Starst and lengthens them until he's on the rail with the cb. Hit's them hard to check stroke and aim. I do it all the time and it definitely gets your arm going...

    Pool or Snooker, whose best.

I compare pool players to golfers...They both must have a good stroke and have a sense of finesse. They must also know how to read the layout. I can go on, but it's late... This is more of a commom sense comparison than what I have read.

    Why make the game easy?

Maybe they should... ;) Isn't snooker usually played on a big table... This is why I think the caliber of players today will never equal the caliber of players back then. I'm not taking anything away at all. The players today are absolutely the best out there. But I think the players of...

    Why make the game easy?

In my opinion, the pockets should be as tight as allowable by the rules...Remember years ago when the old schoolers played on those big tables with little pockets and clay balls that were all chipped and stuff. These guys ran 100's of balls. Mosconi, Caras, Greenleaf, Ponzi, Lassiter, and the...

    Hey there Keith

Hi Keith, I'm new here to this place and figured I may as well get my feet wet! I just wanted to tell you that I like your style of play. I always watch your matches when I'm at the US Open or when you're playing at Snookers in Rhode Island. It seems that I kinda adapted a bit of your style to...

Looking for a good used Brunswick Gold Crown

Hello all, I've just signed up with this forum and this seems to be the place! I've been playing pool most of my life and now I have a chance to get a table of my own so I can escalate my game to a higher level. I'm looking for a Brunswick Gold Crown. Preferable a GC III. We have the classic...
