No, they played with the 3-point rule. It pretty effectively kills any type of soft break. In fact sometimes you can break hard and still get an illegal break, just through bad luck. I'd say no break was softer than, say, 18 mph. And they seemed to try for harder ones.

I was really impressed with Denis Grabe last night, he shot an accu-stats .960 in a race to 11. That's pretty much inhuman. If he could shoot like that all the time he'd be a no-brainer for team europe.
