    Kamui Chalk

Lost a hill-hill match that I should have won. A mis-cue was to blame. Where is the best source where I can urchase Kamui chalk? Thanks.

    Balabushka Chalk

Have not tried Kamui or Blue Diamond chalk, but have read the commentary on both as posted prior. I have tried Balabushka chalk, and find the spin increase, and less mis-cuing, far superior to Masters chalk. Can anyone comment on a comparison of Balabushka vs Kamui chalk from actual use versus...

Aramith Tournament Balls: big price diff between ebay and retail

Ebay's Tournament Balls are mis-matched in weight, ranging from a low of 5 & 3/8 oz. to the maximum of 6 oz. Like a box of chocolates per Forest Gump... "Off Ebay, you never know what your going to get"?????? Buy retail from a reputable supplier and ask for a matched set in equal weight. If...

    Be a Bettter Banker

better banker thanks for the info,,, it is unique, however, it does not provide for a banking aim but more a way to hit the object ball fractionally, i.e., 1/2, 1/4, 1/3, 3/4, etc. Maybe I am missing something, but I fail to see where this will provide for improved banking capability?

Cues on airplanes as "Carry-On" Great idea Jay.... In the meantime here is how I do it: I pack my cue case w/cues in a case designed to transport a rifle/shotgun. It gets special handling before and after flight. When you arrive at your destination, it is hand delivered to you at baggage...

    Willie Hoppe autographed cues

Willy was a great Pocket Billiards player. Suggest you read, "Billiards As It Should Be Played" written by Willie Hoppe and published in 1941. On page 25, Willie explains how he aims, making a point of his method of looking at the cue ball last. One of his fellow pros wanted to bet him...

Aromith accepts "Quality Control" discrepancy / Tournament Edition?

How much weight disparity you want to know? My understanding is, each ball in a complete set, including cue ball should weigh a full six ounce. Deviations of 5.75 - 5.80 - 5.85 - 5.90 have been found in checking multiple new sets of Aramith Tournament Edition balls. Cross Side Larry

Aromith accepts "Quality Control" discrepancy / Tournament Edition?

To fellow AZB member: This was recently brought to my attenion and I find it unacceptable! As outrageous as it sounds, Aramith admits to weight disparity in their costly Tournament Edition Balls. Next time you miss a shot requiring precision, i.e., bank shot or severe cut shot, weigh your set...

    When Balls Wont Rack Tight

Just wondering what some ways are to help ensure getting the rack tight? To me the #1 most important thing as far as having a good break in 9-Ball is to be sure the rack is tight. Mike A very effective technique to ensure a tight rack, regardless of game being racked for, is to remove the...
