I am still trying to find some isoplast ferrule material. Any help would be appreciated.

Gallery Graphics, Bob Rumer does dry transfers. I find them superior to the slide on decals. If you want the slide on you can buy the paper and print them yourself.

General Finishes Enduro works well and if its not available can probably be shipped.

Make sure that all the glue isn't soaking into the tip. Give it a minute before putting the 2 surfaces together.

That is their Tremblant series TS1. Sold for $588 canadian in 2005.

Phenolic should work for the joint end. You need something lighter for the tip end. Isoplast if you can find it or tomahawk.

If you cut the shaft off behind the ferrule, the ferrule may no longer be large enough. Check with calipers to see if the ferrule will match up with the wood.

If they want to keep it as a break shaft just reshape the ferrule.

Thanks for your reply. When my limited stock of Isoplast is gone I will try your material. I use isoplast for the low deflection shafts I make.

How does tomahawk compare to isoplast weight wise.

I make them 1/2 the diameter of the shaft/ferrule.
