I have also had my shaft taken down its around 11.75mm, I have been shooting with it for 3 yrs now, it has a pro tapper. I wonder if you could turn down an OB classic to 11.75mm I think that might be my ticket.

I don't really know, just what I have read, OB states that the classic has more of a crisp hit as the OB 1 & 2 have a soft hit.

Why on? It seemed to me that they might have the best hit and feedback compared to a soild maple shaft. And yes I do know that my trip has just began. Thks

That place is about a 2.5 hr drive for me, and im not sure if they sell ob there, ill try calling. Nobody he on my league has on ob nor have I seen anybody with one. It seems everybody plays with a 314/2 or a z/2. thks

yes that place is about 2 hours away, and I think it is just a pool hall, not sure if there is a pro shop, but I will call to see. I have asked around my pool hall, they love the 314/2 and the z/2 here. Thks

Well I would first like to thank everyone for giving me a min of your time. I have been using a McDermott cue with a plain maple shaft for years, the shat has a pro tapper and is about 12.0-11.5 not 100%. So I have now decided to get myself a ld shaft, after all my research I would like to try...
