No Jelly For My Belly, Down In Louisiana

You say the guy had no class, I feel like you have none expecting something that you had no guts to risk something on your self. As someone else said would you have given him half his money back if you would have played bad. And before you say something about me, yes I did give a guy back his...

How to protect your cues against moisture ???

I have a Instroke 3x7,leave it in my truck, lived down on the Gulf Coast of Texas and never had the problem you have. I would get rid of that soft case first. If you are just sold on your case you could put some rice in a cheesecloth bag to absorb the moisture.---Smitty

    Light for 9' table

What I love about those lights is how it blacks out all the other parts of the room except for the table.---Smitty

    One pocket Spot

To me that is what makes one pocket such a great game. You can take a player who is a better shot maker than you and tie him up so good thay he never gets to use his skill to beat you. That said, you can never make a mistake against a shooter likr that or he will run out on you.---Smitty

Pool cue bag for cue case(cold weather)

If it is so cold that you are worried about your cue warping, why are you out walking in that kind of weather. I'd be worried about my own safety.---Smitty

    Evgeny Stalev Fluid

Got to watch him at Legends in League City, Tx. a few years ago, lot of fun to watch. He is top notch, but like someone else said you don't see a whole bunch of him. I would think he would come over and play in all the big money one pocket tournaments, he play a excellent game of 1 hole.---Smitty

    one pocket shot question

I play 1 pocket most of the time and I have never had that happen. I am assuming that you want your ball back up in the pocket so you can have a shot and a chance to make more. I really think that you ball stays down.--Smitty

What are the characteristics that distinguish a “banger” from a “real” pool player?

Someone who in 9 Ball doesn't play shape on the next ball, or in 8 ball has no idea which ball he is going to shoot next until the cueball stops rolling Also someone that just loves to draw the ball when a little follow would do the trick.---Smitty

    Newbie question

One of the things that bad about shooting regular pool balls on a snooker table is the ball strikes the cushion below center of the ball and will break the glue holding the rubber on the rail loose after a while. I would see if I could find a poolroom that would like a 5x10 and see if the have...

    midland texas poolroom?

Not much in the way of poolhalls in Midland. Most of the players play at The Golden Cue on 14th & Grant or Billy's Billiard Palace in the 800 block of 8th St. in Odessa, which is about 15 to 20 miles from Midland. Golden Cue has good tables, a nine foot GC and a Snooker table. Billy's place has...

    Grady Memorial One Pocket

I myself love one pocket too. I think the players who find it boring are not smart enough to out play their opponent, so they say its boring. While it is not a fast action game like 9 ball, it requires skills which will help any game. Your safety play will really improve as well as your banking...
