? for JB and JB butterfly case owners

The center of mine is held in place by Velcro which makes changing it to a more custom interior easy. Something I may do after the announcement of the case winner.. I open mine up all the way, lay the cue parts on top until I remove the JP's then assemble and put the case aside. Where I...

Do You Have A Pet That Is Named For Something Pool Related

I have 3 dogs, my smallest is a rescue whose foster named him "Skippy". It fit so I kept the name. The youngest and largest (also a rescue) is named "Sly", but not after the cuemaker. If Leon ever met my dog, he might feel insulted as my dog isn't all that smart. I'm old, single and I live...

***Snakewood Olney with It's GeorgeV case***

I'm in that category Josh. I do love me an Olney cue! (I own 4). This one is a real beauty. Price is right especially with the It's George case. I recently heard Jeff s list is at 9 years. Maybe it's time to answer one of those emails offering me a new credit card. ;) Have a bump for an Olney...

What's the best strategy for APA/CPA "points" 9-ball?

I'm an 8 in APA 9 ball. Have been for a few years now. For me it's inexpensive social fun. I play on 2 teams, one with family members, and the other with a bunch of folks I like. I do take the singles competition kinda serious, but the team thing ... not worth it. I read a lot of good advice...

What's in your JB Case? - WIN A CASE.

For your consideration Just got this in today, one of the Deanoc call in deals he posted a few days ago. John made me a great deal on this Sephia case. I had been looking at it for weeks, saving my pennies when Karma kicked in and recognized what a great guy I am. :D Cues are safe and snuggly...

how are ya'll doing in league ?

I'm an 8 in APA 9 ball. New session starts on the 16th. Last session I had 1 mini slam, 7 break and runs and 2 9 breaks. Sounds pretty good except I lost too many, always by 3 to 5 balls. Sitting at 56%. My 8 ball night was worse. I'm hoping that less personal distractions this year will help...

    Why do you play pool?

When I was a teen, I played several sports. Golf, Bowling, Tennis, and of course Pool. I had enough experience with team sports that I knew they weren't for me. Pool is the only game I ever played that no matter how good I got, I knew I could be better. That stands til this day almost 40 years...

    Kamui Leather Cue Case

They may have been $1800 when they came out, but here's an ebay sale for $760. Still seems kind of pricey to me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KAMUI-CUE-CASE-ONE-SET-INCLUDE-4ITEM-/301058520091?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item46187c741b

    What size?

McDermott and Pechaur both make "Prodigy" cues as well in various short lengths. (At least they used to, I haven't looked recently). I have a Pechaur for my grandson that's 52" when he's ready.

    Dale Perry cue review

I have my suspicions about what happened to DP cues, I posted my assumption in another thread. I have however purchased 2 DP's in my life. The first was 10 years ago as a gift for the (then) wife. She was new to pool, we had joined a league and I really didn't like sharing my old Schon. It was...

I currently own three with one on the way! My main player is the one in the middle. I shot with a friend's cue last year and I was bit. http://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=311358&stc=1&d=1388537527...

John Barton is here and selling at a discount as

Looks like I caught John after the game was over. I'm not sure who won, but John was still in a dealing mood. Got a butterfly I've been contemplating for months. Thank you dean and John my cues will sleep snuggly soon.(and... for a change I can afford it!) Rick

How much did your playing cue cost?

In 40 years of playing I've bought a load of cues and have only sold 4 or 5. Right now I'm playing a Jeff Olney 6 point that I recently acquired for $400. Definitely my favorite. $50 for a BK2 which I picked up in a package deal that included a Joss cue. (I got both with a case for $400, sold...

    Dale Perry Cue Review

I'm not sure, but what SEEMS to have happened to DP cues is this. (this is purely conjecture from an amateur collector). He bought a huge overpriced CNC machine (their ad states that Dale Perry a world class cuemaker uses their machine) which allowed him to pump out cue after cue each slightly...

    stolen cue and case

I had a cue stolen a few years ago. It was a Schon that I owned and shot with for over 14 years. I had left it in my car and thieves were hitting any unlocked car for whatever they could find. I doubted it would make a difference but I reported it anyway. Good thing I did, about a month later I...
