    Measure your shotmaking level

Thanks for your feedback guys. The drill is meant to compare your own results and see your progress in shotmaking. It's hard to compare with other people, because of the different table settings. But it seems to me that Dr. Daves difficulty factor can be used to compare with other players here...

    Measure your shotmaking level

Hey, so I came up with this drill to measure your potting ability. It's as tough as possible, because the cueball is always on the rail. You have to play 24 balls and then compare how many you made by using this tableau. I am curious how many balls you guys can make and what potting level...

    Can anyone make this shot?

I once tried this shot and made it at the first try. "All you have to do" is hit low on the cue ball, cut it a little to the right and hit hard and with much quality. Doesnt't work on every table.

Do you prefer spin or high / low to get position

Thanks for the hint with the angles, I was a little negligent when drawing the graphics. I agree with everything you guys said :)

Do you prefer spin or high / low to get position

Hi AZB, I have a question that may leads to a discussion, because you can't give a clear answer. There are certain shots in pool, where you can play either a follow or draw shot to get position, but you can also play it with just spin / english / side. Personally I prefer to play these shots...

Pool Challenge - Are you fast enough?

Sounds interesting, let me know if you've posted the challenge. I chose less balls so that the videos are shorter. Maybe it would be easier if you could pocket in any order. But then you wouldn't have a chance to be faster than the people who are playing from one table to the other, so it...

Pool Challenge - Are you fast enough?

Hmm.. I guess i forgot that because for me its not that hard of a drill. So far I had a couple of videos sent, even from a German Bundesliga player. But no one was able to beat the 29:10

Pool Challenge - Are you fast enough?

I had some tries where I could've been about 5 seconds faster, but then everytime missed at the end. Rules are simple: Place to balls from 1 to 9 on the diamond spots and play in order from one table to the other. I am curious how long it takes till someone beats the current time of 29:10

Pool Challenge - Are you fast enough?

Hi AZBs, want to participate in a fun challenge? Currently there is the Beat The Clock challenge, where players from all over the world can compete against each other. The current champion is Arsec from Germany. https://youtu.be/m8XV9USGCfU His time is really tough to beat, but there are a...

How To Break And Run 9-Ball

I used Adobe Photoshop for the graphics and edited the video with Adobe Premiere. The tool that you see in the other videos, where I can draw lines, mark areas, elevate the cue, add spin and move the balls around is a program that I made for my tutorials...

How To Break And Run 9-Ball

@Kickin' Chicken I wouldn't recommend drawing to the rail and then back to the center. If you have spin on the cueball it goes somewhere und you can't predict it + as you said there are a lot of balls that could get in the way. It just happend because I hit too low on the cueball. Yeah I also...

How To Break And Run 9-Ball

Yeah, I'm using the aramith tv balls. You have a good eye on details. I'm hoping this helps a lot of players. Here in my club are so many players who still dont do the things that I explained in the video, even if they are already playing several years.
