I'm just curious... How do you keep your shaft feeling silky smooth? I can play with my 12mm shaft for a few weeks and then its covered in chalk and is a little sticky to my skin. I don't know if my hands are just sweaty and the chalk sticks easily, but just wondering what everyone does...

I already shaved my schon shaft down to 12.5 mm and I use to play with a meucci that was a even 12 mm and I loved how it played, thats why im going smaller.

the only problem with go with what feels good, is that around here none of the cue shops carry ob products. They barely carry any predator products, and they dont even have a single z2 that will fit my schon. Shame they are still in business.

I have a schon cue, and I am thinking about changing shafts for a smaller diameter shaft. I have been looking at the Z2 shafts but have also heard good things about the Ob shafts, does anyone have any pros cons of each? If I get the Z2 im going to order the one with the schon joint.

Does anyone have a Schon predator z2 shaft? Or even a 314? I bought a schon and would like to get a nice z shaft for it to have a smaller diameter shaft

Thanks everyone I think I am going to go ahead and get it. Everyone has good good things to say about Schons, only problem I have seen is that the butt cap gets cracked from people slaming it on the floor, but I never do my cues in that manner. So thanks again, gonna go ahead and order it.

Looking for an original Z shaft to fit a Meucci, Must be straight let me know what you have.

So., I guess the next question is if anybody has any ideas on the OB shaft? which one would you choose, and can they be turned down to say 12.5 mm?

I have a Meucci hook, a older meucci, I love the cue, but the shaft has been shaved down to a 12.00 mm and I want to have a stiffer hit, any suggestions? Thanks guys! Thanks for all the help, however, I did not find the meucci I was looking for on here. I actually picked up a meucci hook from a local dealer, he cleaned it up relly nice and done a little work on it and hooked it up nice. But I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me out.
