G2 are great, i had ultraskin on of shaft I bought and it was miscueing like crazy- worst tip ever. Did not hold chalk at all. Maybe it was just a bad tip and I got unlucky

OB classic deflects much much more and plays like extremelly stiff standard maple shaft I liked OB1 much better as it is actually LD shaft

I thought he did only recuts, never seen his cues with veneers in them other than blanks by different builders
