I make cue with southwest style tapers. 3/8 11 is my pin. I make many cues with this taper but the customer have me change it more then 50% of the time. Funny right?
We need better picture of the pin and under the bumper. Nice cue but with no close up pics it would just be a guess. Is the but cap delrin? That maybe the wrong spelling.
This a 5/16 18 flat face joint. Piloted joints in a small pin are ok but I don't like them in flat face. I also use the big brass 3/8 11 to make the cue be more forward balanced.
I will not be jazzing it up. I will be cutting it up. I will be only using the forearm. I will not hide were the parts came from. I also will be adding a new Handel butt sleeve and butt cap. New shaft and joint pin.
