. Like a lot of sellers...the seller might of stood over the shaft and rolled it and it looked straight. You really need to bend over and roll it to see how it is. I have a Joss shaft that looks bad when you roll it but when attached to the butt, It's straight. It's a weird thing. .

. I like a leather tip for breaking. I use a firm break and don't try hitting a homerun. .

:mad: Just because a tip has the clear pad, does not always mean the tip is Kamui. A lot of cue reapairmen will keep the clear on when replacing a new tip. :( .

:thumbup: I'm glad you made this clear. I didn't know and was hoping it wasn't Ted Harris. Some don't remember...but Ted was going through some hard times a few years ago and then someone came in and helped him out and gave him life again. .

:idea2: You can use a Rainbow vacuum cleaner or wet vac and suck it up. Just be careful not to suck up the cloth. Then take a damp cloth and go over the whole surface of the table. .

:shocked: Make sure you tell your cue repair guy when you have a tip replaced and have scratches in the ferrule removed. .
