Why No 15 Ball Rotation Tournaments?

Johnny tell me why you think American Rotation isn't good enough for the professional player. We do play call shot, no jump cues, one foul and we've eliminated racking problems and a lot of the luck on the break.

I put this on facebook and should have posted it here also but it is definitely NOT too late and I have few spots still available. Good opportunity to improve your game and help someone at the same time. You could also make a Christmas gift out of it if you like, I would just need the person's...

Should this racking format be the gold standard

I think they all like the cut break but I haven't seen anyone that has it " figured out" but I'm just judging by the stream matches. I thought Oliver Ortmann's break was the best. He hit a firm cut with a fast but smooth kind of awesome stroke that drew the cb back past the side. If that's the...

Should this racking format be the gold standard

What I have seen is less arguing, less cheating, faster racking, a corner ball that is playable but not dead, a skillful 1 ball in the side shot and a lot more seems to be dependent on play and less on the rack. In years past I was there first hand, could watch multiple tables at a time and the...

    Break Stats -- 2015 U.S. Open 9-Ball, Oct. 2015

Thanks again AtLarge. Stats looking similar but it its a lot more fun for me to watch. Racking is faster, arguments reduced, less cheating, more cue ball risk of scratching when playing the corner ball. The break that seems to work best calls for accuracy with some pace which makes things less...

Inside spin on cutshots- Help a banger

Don't do that. Pool is pocket the ball and play shape. So play pool and play shape every shot. You will miss some that you might have made had you attempted it the wrong way but you will learn, you will improve and you will be playing pool if you make that decision.

AccurRack Plus 9 On The Spot = Trouble

We want playable, we don't want wired or anti wired lol unless wired for both.

AccurRack Plus 9 On The Spot = Trouble

Agree and disagree. Can be done but I don't think its easy. The 1 is very playable but it does take a lot more skill than the wired corner ball does so I see it as a step up.

AccurRack Plus 9 On The Spot = Trouble

I agree with the 10 Ball advice, been promoting it since 1999 but the discussion is on 9b so I presented what I thought the 2 best ways were to play it. Feel free to offer what you think the best way to play is because its going to be played. Templates give both players as close to the same rack...

And I think that was without a breakbox?

AccurRack Plus 9 On The Spot = Trouble

Teach right now I have you down for room owner of the year but I would like to hear your specific concerns also. Personally I think there are 2 great ways to play 9 Ball; 1 Break from anywhere, rack with a template and alternate break is one that makes for a true break and run out contest with...

    American Rotation in NYC

Haven't quite reached that level yet but I do look forward to it happening. We would need more player support and me doing a better job of presenting the organization on a regular weekly basis. This would allow us to ask for sponsor support so we could give more to the players. Qualifiers get...

    American Rotation in NYC

The 10 players play the 9 match round robin. Then the top 6 players in the standings of that group play a single elimination playoff for the national spot, they do not have to go to a regional. The winner gets $800 travel money and a spot into the national event held at the Derby City Classic in...

    American Rotation

I bet the 96 pissed him off lol The man is tough. He texted me those 2 scores of 44 26 and I'm like dam Johnny, bearing down aren't ya? And his reply was a simple Champion's statement "It's the only way I know how to play" He has also played 7 out of his 9 matches and I think he's only been...
