Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

No guilt here. I thought a long time before posting and I am being honest with everyone about everything.

Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

Honestly, I changed the title because he gave me my refund back, so in my mind he's not a thief. I have read too many stories about true thieves on this forum, and Doug does not fit the part. Sure, he was pretty bad at communicating, but he gave me my deposit back so I can't call the man a thief.

Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

I understand but I do believe in second chances and he has made things right. Not to mention I'm a sucker for a pretty cue, and since this is my design, I may think it's real pretty when I see it!

Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

**UPDATE** I honestly didn’t want to post this about Doug, but if someone else is in the same position, or was thinking about getting a cue made by him, I think they deserve to know. I wrote off the $200 months ago after getting the run around for a couple of years. It was a lesson learned, and...

Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

I will wait until things are finalized to say more, but Doug has reached out to me and there should be a resolution soon. I will say I've never had any intentions of doing anything stupid over a measly $200. Physical confrontation or legal actions have never entered my mind. This post was...

Doug Patrick - Not A Thief

PayPal, and it looks like it wasn't F&F. I may look into filing a police report. I hate doing this, but he's left me no choice.

    Jacpot cue buyers refund

The subject has been beat to death too many times. I actually gave mine to my wife, she thinks it's pretty and likes it. So no, I'm not trying to sell it or get a refund. This post appears to have been created to try to do the right thing. No need for a jackass troll to come on here and start...

    David Tickle

I got to test hit one of his cues one time. I only did a handful of shots, but it felt good. I don't recall what it looked like, kind of Plain Jane perhaps. I don't remember anything bad about it. He also makes a jump cue which I played with a little more. It jumps real good. I'd say as easy as...

    New Cue - Maybe?

I owned a couple of Lucasi cues about 10-15 years ago. Perhaps they have changed a lot, but I wouldn't consider them 'high end' equipment at all. They didn't play very well IMO. I think Joss or Mezz are higher end production cues for sure. I'd also take a look at Schon and if you're not worried...

    Newsheriffintwn Cue

For those of you that have never played with a Newsheriffintwn cue, you are missing out. I got my first one just over a year ago and it plays as good as any cue I've played with. Although beautiful, it's a somewhat plain design. It has a solid hit, balanced just right, and great feedback. For...

Help Identifying a Cue – McDermott?

Need help identifying this cue. It belongs to a friend and he was told it was a McDermott when he bought it, but there are no markings on the cue. He was told the butt cap was replaced and that’s why it has no markings. It appears to have real inlays from what I can tell. Are any of the...
