Who made the shaft with the black collar?

I am with you Measureman, I have owned two, and both seemed to be very good cues, especially for the money.

If you go to his website, and at the top click on FAQ, about half way down there is a section about durometer testing that might be helpful. I have tried the medium and hard on two different shafts, and I like the hard better (just personal preference).

What is the HH?

I think if you use expensive chalk (Kamui, Blue Diamond, etc.), it is wise to use a chalker, or it will be left on the table sooner or later. The guy that works in the bar I play in, told me he found two pieces of Kamui in one week. I wonder how many he has found altogether.

Bought soft, medium and hard. Had the medium installed on one shaft and the hard on another. My preference is the hard, but I have always kinda liked the harder tips.

Don't know if it is just me, but I would rather have the original shaft that goes with the cue. Even if it is a little dirty, no big deal to clean it. Just my opinion, everyone else may not feel this way.

Anyone else having trouble with the forum hanging up? Seems like after I'm on for about 5-10 minutes it starts hanging up when clicking on a post.

Good advice, wish I had put the wood down underneath the table. Like Tony says, won't have to move the table when the carpet is replaced.

I like the OB Classic (I think the OB Classic Pro is the 11.75 version). Also, if you can find one, the TX-8 version (11.75) of the Universal Smart Shaft if very good. I've had one of those for a long time and refuse to sell it. Those are about the only two I have tried that I really like.
