retip well i cut the soft tip off, couldn't feel any looseness in the ferrule, or joint rings, sanded and glued on new ti, and rattle is still there, i am going to have to send this to beian at BCM.

/ regular maple shaft from BCM, wood threads, ferrule, tip, collar, everything,seems tight. Cut off tip and try again ? i retipped the other shaft last week with same materials/tools and it is fine.

I have a new BCM cue with a 3/8-11 pin to wood joint and it is difficult to screw together and squeaks loudly when screwing together. Is this normal ? Will it get easier, quieter? What about a bit of oil or lube ?
