Yeah, this is the same guy selling pieces of leather that are too thick to be used as "cue wraps". This caused me a lot of problems when I tried to have a cue maker install the wrap.

I don't understand??? I thought the policy for auctions was to post in the auction if you want the spots. It's sort of a courtesy to everyone so that you publicly claim the spots. It's not that big of a deal for me, but I don't see any consistency here.:confused:

Part of the reason for the new packaging was all of the counterfeits, but I have no idea how to tell if this one is real or not.

I think the inlays were added by a different cuemaker. McDermott never had any notched diamonds in any d-series, and those inlays are super clean.

This is a new scam some of these guys are running:

If the thickness is 1.07 mm then that is equal to .042 inches. Cue wraps need to be between .022-.028 inches(aproximately, i'm not a cue maker). 0.042 inches is almost two times thicker than the acceptable range for a wrap thickness, and it would be unusable.
