Thanks for your replies. You feel when it is out, and it lasts for quite a while. It is not messy. That is my reason for using it instead of talc.

I use the Silke Hand - Invisible Powder instead of talc. The only problem is that the bottle is quite expensive and doesn't last long. Any recommendations for similar products? Thanks, Jon Birger

This is all about personal preferance. I normally use Blue Diamond, but decided to test the nir chalk. It holds longer on the tip than Blue Diamond, but you get some more chalk on your fingers, shaft and cloth. If your pre shot routine is to chalk before every shot, I would recommend Blue...

It is a bit messy, but stays on the tip very well.
