I don't know there are a problem with Mr Varney...i only know that i order a cue from him...he gave me price, timeline and deliver a good product to me on the time he promise...that's it...that is my experience...

i agree that predator is a good cue for playing...they are over priced offcourse, but still a fine cue to play...but, i also don't agree with some people who claim that a production cue is as good as a top list custom cue like sugartree.. MONEY NEVER LIES to me....they are many many reason why...

not much different but still got a different....like i said earlier a good equipment can give you confident and that's a lot of thing in any game.. but i agree with you a 400$ plain jane cue ( i meant a cue that worth 400$ in quality) already consider a good equipment...

false.:confused:..:confused: keith josey request a 50% deposit and he is a very very honest and great cuemaker...kevin varney also request a 50% deposit. and his jump break cue is very very good... he delivery his work on time..i believe JB cases also need 50% deposit and he is a good...

Sir....secondary sure not nothing else i also agree that the biggest part to have a good move in pool game is a good stroke, but don't forget an equipment....if you got a good stroke but your equipment (cue) don't support you well....then you don't have any chance to show your level of...

Hi Eric... i did send a Pm for you a couple days ago but don't have any feedback...:) here is a question for a sugartree cue...i bought a sugartree 8 pointer braz rosewood forearm with curly maple handle from trav dorn...he said to me that this cue got your new taper and new weight bolt...

most of cuemaker request a 50% deposit money...the product (cue) still on their hand...and 50% of price is enough already for bought a material to make a cue...if somehow the customer not pay the balance, a cuemaker can sell the cue for a 10-20% discount and he/she still got some profit...so why...

nobody want to spent a lot of dollar for an equipment that don't have any advantage... sugartree plain jane can sell for 1500$...while a fancy point predator can not sell for 1500$...in secondary market. Do you really think a good stroke is all that player need to move ball and nothing else...

Why i own a Sugartree : 1... Hit like a dream...I can move the ball so much easier than any other cuemaker cue except my Mobley (mobley also can move the ball so much easier, but i like the feel of my sugartree) 2. resale value good...let's say you spent 2000$ for a new 8 pointer...i believe...
