When you look at the object ball, What do you see?

I see a point on the OB, and the corresponding point on the OTHER SIDE of the CB . . . Good imagination I guess, but that's what my brain sees.

    One pocket rules question

In this scenario, why not use the standard draw shot to pocket the 7-ball in your own pocket instead of screwing around?

    Pool on ESPN

IMO, womens pool on ESPN 2 is not produced for us, the pool players, it is produced for the masses. I don't even bother to watch. I'd rather pay a few bucks and watch Shane play Bustamonte on TAR this weekend and enjoy world-class pool and interesting commentary meant for real pool players...

    14.1 ruling confusion

I believe "could" is the more correct term here. If I have it correctly, after the third foul, the incomming player has the OPTION to re-rack or play the table as it lies, although playing it as it lies is probably not the best option in most cases.

    snakewood update

At face value, I don't see exposing the sw to temperature extremes as being beneficial. With wood being such a substantially different material from metal, I don't think tempering will have any beneficial effect, but I appreciate someone who is willing to experiment and publish their results...

    Allen Hopkins' short/push stroke.

He doesn't hardly even have a back stroke on his break!

any vendors at DCC this year?

Valley Forge has a much larger vendor attendance. DCC asks too much for a booth for many CMs.

    I am getting glasses...reviews needed

I recently tried progressive bi-focals and absolutely hated them. They have a very narrow area of perfect focus, the rest will be fuzzy. I would much rather have real bifocals. Check your source for a satisfaction guarantee before you buy unless you have used progressive lenses before. As...

    one pocket practice

Gabe Owen and Scott Frost both have relatively new 1p videos out, and beyond those, there are more from Cliff, Grady, Hopkins, Encardona, & probably more. Accu-stats is running a 10 for $100 special right now on their match videos as well. Happy shooting.

Red Shoes Billiards (One Pocket) February 4th, 2012

Is that race to 3 on the winner side and 2 on the B side? I didn't follow the (3-2) part.

    Suggestion for the APA

With no future players will there be a need for prize money?

    Suggestion for the APA

I stated my opinion, and labled it as such. I do not like to watch amateur pool, period. On the other hand, I spend more money than most people to watch professional level pool on streams and video. Again, IMO, what pool needs is a junior development program, not a reality show.

    Suggestion for the APA

I would have zero interest in watching amateurs play pool on TV. If I want to watch a hack whack some balls around, I could film myself. JMO.

    Favorite Accu-Stats Matches

For banks, there was a ring game at Derby City in 2005, with Brian Gregg and Shannon D and others. It was recorded by Billiard Club Network, so I don't know if Accu-stats has it, but I know they were there, and they filmed the bank tourney (D7-B01-3). This ring game, not necessarily the...
