Hatch v. Dechaine. I would pay to see them play again, wouldn't you?

A good rivalry is great for any game or sport. I do not understand the outrage associated with the first match. It sounded like great entertainment to me. In professional sports, athletes fight and trash talk all the time and people love it. Why is it admonished in pool. Doesn't make sense...

Name for a line of cues

Schuester cues. I used to work with a guy whose last name was Schuester. Another co-worker suggested that Schuester would be a good name for a line of cues.

    Loser/Drunk Stroke

I've heard Danny Diliberto refer to the 'give up stroke' several times during his commentary. Danny says that the hardest stroke to beat is the give up stroke. Is this what you're referring to? Basically, he talks about a player who is way behind in match. The player pretty much quits...

    Copy VHS to DVD players?

Here's one. http://www.amazon.com/Magnavox-Recorder-Up-Conversion-Manufacturer-Refurbished/dp/B002TIHQLC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1336336246&sr=8-2 You might be able to find a cheaper one at a pawn shop. That's a good place to look for outdated electronics.

    Improving Jump Shot Accuracy

But if you hit below center mass on the cue ball with an elevated cue stick, it still imparts draw on the cue ball, just like with a level cue, right? Even if you can only hit the very bottom of the cue ball. I was just wondering if imparting draw on the cue ball would cause the cue ball to...

    >>>>Accu-Stats 8-Ball Invitational<<<<

Will any of the 15 DVDs from the event be player review DVDs? I particularly enjoy the accu-stats player review DVDs, and I don't know that accu-stats has ever done a player review DVD for 8-ball. Who's going to be doing the commentary?

    Jump Shot Accuracy

Hi, This might be a dumb question, but does putting draw on a jump shot make the cue ball hop less and therefore improve jump shot accuracy? I was practicing jump shots the other day and this seemed to help. I also recall watching a match on youtube and one of the pros, I don't remember who...

Too much English, Which tip shape to help?

Wouldn't a smaller tip diameter allow you to impart more spin on the cue ball? For example, if you used max spin with both a 13mm tip and a 12mm tip, wouldn't the 12mm tip give you more side spin?

    Favorite accu-stat commentator quotes

Danny Diliberto said that he's never missed a shot from the announcer's booth. Also, when the other commentator does good commentary, he complements them on how well they're 'shooting' from the announcer's booth. In one of the matches Billy Incardona said that he was one of the best...
