Most complete Runde era Schon catalog?

As JB said in post number two, Schon did a lot of mixing of models. The one I've had for about 25 years has the R12 forearm and the R15 butt sleeve with blue veneers. Yours is likely a custom order mix and not a specific model. Regards, Randy

    Tiger/Purple heart Hunter Classic

Why don't you just have Wes make you new shafts with his stiffer, more conical taper? I have one of his cues with the shaft tapered that way and it plays awesome! Just a suggestion. Good Luck, Randy

    Sam Maloof sculpture for cue?

Can't blame a guy for trying can ya? Seriously though, if I were you, I wouldn't part with that award knowing what it took for you to get it! I just googled the award and came across an article in Fine Woodworking Magazine that shows a picture of you next to the reproduction piece you...

    Sam Maloof sculpture for cue?

That's an interesting piece you have there and I'm very familiar with Mr. Maloof's work. Unfortunately, I prefer furniture. Now, if you were offering one of his rocking chairs, then I'd try to deal with you! Good luck, Randy

    Tri-state tour misfits

Another "Tri-State" area is LaCrosse, WI for WI, MN, and IA. As far as handicapped tournaments or leagues go, there is no such thing as a perfect one and there never will be.

Jensen Conversion pool cue--ivory ferrule--padduck shaft??

I was a previous owner of this cue and the shaft is Lyptus wood. A real stiff monster of a shaft that plays very well. Good luck with the sale. Randy

Opinions on Cue I'm thinking of buying

Definitely go the custom route! For that price range I would consult with either Rick Howard or Pete Ohman here in Florida or Keith Josey in Georgia. Good Luck, Randy

Can't get my stroke straight. AARf

I believe the picture of Mika on the AZB Home page correctly reflects this thumb position you have described. Mika's thumb is straight down and not wrapped around the cue. Regards, Randy
