thats a nice cue....if you like jacobys, they are a good cue. pretty fancy.....
make sure its what you want....its wood to wood joint so the balance will be different from a steel jointed cue. it doesnt have a wrap on it/ make sure you like wrapless cues. not sure what unilok radial pin does for a joint????
othe cue wont hit like a regular jacoby, ...it will hit like what it it is a "jacoby with pred shaft
if i was gonna spend that much money on a Playing cue i intend on playing with , instead of collecting....id make sure i shot a few racks with it first. but if you have to have it by all means go for it.
Its definately pretty. cues like this by big manufacterers are definately collectable....id say more collectable than a one off cue from a one off maker
i say this because its from a big manufacturer with a good rep and its a limited run production cue... ..(not saying value wise more collectable but as far as people wanting the cue) anyone can get a one off cue from a thousand different custom makers...this is a limited run cue from a bigtime maker, you wouldnt have a hard time finding a buyer for it down the road
kindof like say the GranSport corvette from chevy
or the Harley Davidson edition trucks from ford
Dodge Vipers will be very collectable
Acura NSX (awsome cars with very low production Numbers and can still be had for reasonable money, in 10 more years these cars will be wortha small fortune)
look at what a all origional 70 hemi cuda goes for today.
these are kindof poor examples but you see what im saying
they are collectable somewhat....because they came with rare factory trim
Jacoby(who has grown as a brand tremendously over the last 10 yrs. they are kindof the way Mcdermott was 20 or so years ago) Makes a good cue....my only nock on them is there clear coat isnt as durable as some others, doesnt stand up to abuse as well.
