SAM stands for Supplemental Aiming System so obviously it isn't meant as the be all end all in aiming systems but when you get to where you are dividing SAM numbers into smaller fractions it does get very precise, or so it seems to me.

Hu...We have revised S.A.M. to now be called Stick Aiming Method...as opposed to ball overlap aiming methods. The cuestick is utilized to find the aimpoint on the OB, which is then directed at that point, through the vertical axis of the CB. SAM is a very effective process, once you have an accurate and repeatable set up and delivery system. As was mentioned, it can be utilized on nearly 80% of all shots, including cuts, banks, combinations, caroms and kisses...and provides a way to adjust for shooting with sidespin as well.

Scott,
Thanks for the update. I have the old paperwork around here somewhere "S.A.M. is R.A.D." I believe. Sounds like there has been considerable revision since then.

Hey Scott are you the one that gave Dale Baker in Trumansburg a lesson last year?
Are you a partner with Randy?? Just curious...
Jesse...Yes, I gave Dale a lesson in his home, up in NY. I am a student of, friend of, and colleague of Randyg. We teach the same concepts, and often team-teach the 3-day pool schools around the country.
