Are you saying that this situation is always a foul, or just when the cue ball follows the object ball more than half a ball?

    Older cues play better?

I had a 1986 Joss as a player for 5 or 6 years. Later I tried a new Joss and found the taper was stiffer and played much better. Each cue is different, you must hit with them and make your own choices. Old wood can be gold or firewood.

    J flowers vs justice case

If you want a case to carry your cues around and protect them, the Flowers tribute will do that and look good. A Justice case is American craftsmanship at its finest, made by one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, who is set to retire soon. On the surface they are similar. In reality, they...

    SBE smoking/parking?

They have cleverly set aside the entire area immediately outside of the front doors for smoking, so that everyone, even non smokers, can inhale all the cigarette smoke you may need for several hours just by walking past the throng of shivering smoke hounds, thus saving mad coin on tobacco...

"But It Wont Affect Playability" Help, Dr. Dave/Bob Jewett...

The most warped cue on the wall usually has the best tip! Great post, thanks. In my opinion, simply rolling a cue on a table, especially with Simonis cloth and some light on the other side, will reveal to a sharp eye, slight warpage that will have no effect on play, unless its in your mind...

What is Your Favorite Style of Cue?

Ultra Orthodox Traditional looks best to me. Wrapless Titlists float my boat. I like a full splice with a nice Hoppe ring, like Blackcreek, Jerry -R-. A cue that is made to perform instead of impress turns my prop. Short or no ferrules, half joints, and wood that is known to play well, like...

A shot you don't see very often, the kill shot

What a Drag I always called it a drag shot and use it mostly to prevent roll off on a table that needs to be leveled or has funky napped cloth. Cool tool to have.

    Wrapless to Wrapped???

A cue with a non standard wrap length looks odd because, well it is and will be tough to sell. Any of the guys trying to help you in this thread will treat you right.

    Wrapless to Wrapped???

If your cue has short points it will look silly with a wrap. If our cue is badly warped, forgetaboutit. There is a big difference between an average wrap and a really good wrap. A guy that only does an average job on a new cue could devalue your cue. A guy who does super nice wraps will make...

    Bumping Etiquette Question...

When I see an item with a multitude of posts and views and its still for sale, that tells me its over priced or possibly not desirable. I look for items with fewer posts hoping to find a good deal before the masses see it and someone snaps it up. Excessive bumping can hurt a sale and make a...
