I couldn't agree more... except for one thing, this isn't the final destination for pool in our country, its the final destination for the whole damned country.

However you decide to shape it, if you're using a curved piece of sandpaper, shape it by stroking the sandpaper one way up towards the center of the tip. Pulling down towards the ferrule can cause slight mushrooming.

There are lots of rules in pool where individual games defer to the "General Rules of Pool". In other words ... certain written rules are written to apply across the board to all games. In those cases, individual games do not have to address them. Now, two issues do become involved here...

I don't know about bar box pool tables, I see a lot of .... every Valley is different, but listen, everybody's stroke, delivery, power, accuracy... is different, forget the table being different. For you ... for your way of playing ... just practice what works for you, cause one guy breaking...

I agree, but I also think frozen cue to OB push rule is in need of rethinking.

I think the point is .. if you envision the CB as a part of the cue stick, and your arm, then the only thing you get to hit is the OB. You are throwing your cue stick like a spear. The presence of the CB in the way once you align is inconsequential since you are stroking through it. I...

Actually, I started this poll because of what the poster said in post # 21 in this thread There is NO QUESTION in my mind what should be looked at last. :thumbup:

First thing that came to my mind was to put the CB on the rail behind the 12, shoot the 12 in the near corner with draw, go into the bottom of the 11 hard enough to open the balls and run two balls. It looks easy enough to judge the speed so that you could shoot the 11 into the opposite side...
