    Best thing to do with black palm and Wenge is to apply epoxy coat before the final taper pass. That way the pits are sealed before you even sand it. Saw Wenge handled cue here a few years ago. Made by a big named maker..It had dust in the pits all over. It was ugly.

    .222 is correct for 32.25. You basically have run of the mill .0138" taper per inch. Kinda thin in the middle, that's why old school had 1.260+ bottom or compound taper.
