There's golf & then there's tournament golf. I'll take the guy / gal that establishes their skill level via tournaments. Guess what rules are used for tournaments in the United States & Mexico? Pool isn't much different if at all.

Sorry, but you and everyone where you play are not playing golf by waving the rules that are put in place by the USGA. You have three options for an unplayable lie under the rules of golf - look them up.

Come up with a very strong set of rules that everyone can use & consider a form of bifurcation to separate the elite players from the recreational ones.
