    Any instructors in Iowa?

Man, I don't even think there is a 9ft table in Waterloo/Cedar Falls that isn't in someone's home. I just play in bars or in my garage on my 8-pro. It's been years since there was a real pool hall here. Thanks for the tip on Little Joe.

Learning how to play opposite handed?

I can actually draw better left handed. I never use the rake, just switch hands. I frequently don't even notice except for there is no glove on my right hand.

What tip is on your playing cue, and why?

Kamui Black hard, because I like hard tips, and people said it was cool. I think I have a triangle on the other shaft that I use nearly as much.

    Table cloth stretching/install

Yeah go to the AZB Marketplace and order the Simonis install videos that Glen and Jay put together. I just used them to put 860HR on my sportsman, and it worked awesome!

Liquid dowel and slate seam questions

My pool table lives in a garage, in Iowa. I heat with wood, which means that in the winter I go through some pretty extreme temperature swings. I superglue and bondo my slates and in the 4 years I have had my table I have never had any issues with seams popping. Maybe I am just a lucky sob, but...

    Side pocket relief

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much side pocket stretch relief I should be using on my 8' brunswick sportsman? I watched the Simonis videos, but since they are on a 9' Gold Crown I have to assume that I shouldn't be using exactly the same amount of relief. Any input...

Why doesn't Schmelke cues get more interest from the cue buying public?

Their website and their pictures aren't very good either. One of my team members has a Schmelke playing cue and a break cue and they are both very nice. I don't love the butt diameter but that is a preference thing. They both play well and were well made.
