My wife just booked a trip to visit a college friend of hers on the weekend of Dec 9th-11th, and she was kind enough to offer me a pardon :D So, I booked a little trip of my own and will be going to the Friday-Sunday sessions of the Mosconi Cup. Needless to say, I'm excited. Who else it going?

A big +1 here; I've really enjoyed the stream too.

I bought a new 7' pro-am last fall for $3900. That was just the table, no light, balls, or delivery included.

I've used them on my playing cue(s) for a while and really like them. They do seem to glaze over after a while, but an aggressive scuffing seems to take care of the problem. For the price, they're fantastic.

I'm going to try to make it out Saturday to play in the handicapped event.

If you go to tvmike.tv, you can see the match on the bottom of the two ustream screens. The quality is not good, but at least you can follow along. Hopefully this gets taken care of quickly though, it's upsetting to pay for something than have to deal with this sort of stuff.

FWIW, a bottle of cheap rubbing alcohol and a shop rag melt the black marks off with just a light wipe. :smile: Granted it doesn't cure the issue with the pockets, but the balls are very easy to clean up this way.
