Yes, I think the UltraGel by Locktite to be the best for any Cue Tips. By definition it is for Leather to Plastic and has a 6 month shelf life.

Yes, the Ivory Medium is put on the Low Deflection and the Black medium on all other shafts. I believe they will also put on any of my other tips on request.

This is what the Black Tips mostly do. It comes from the tanning on that type of tip. I do also agree with the other suggestions.
