    Fake on Ebay?...

I am not trying to bust your balls, but from what I see the cue in the photo looks like a Rambow, including the writing on it. Now I did read other posts to your thread and the person who has it listed apparently doesn't want anyone to see the cue in person, and it also appears it was listed on...

    Pin Glue

I don't think adhesive will change the cues hit so long as it doesn't let loose. I also use epoxy for my pins, I don't think I would ever consider using anything else.

If You Could Give One Single Bit Of Advice To A Lower Level Player . . .

The most important thing a beginning player can do to set things in motion concerning their Pool game is to learn their basic fundamentals " Stance, Bridge / how to properly hold the cue, Stroke, and last but not least find a Aiming technique that works for them. I have seen so many people who...

Travelling with cue from dry climate to humid climate?

So long as you keep the cue in temperature controlled environment I don't think you will have any major problems. You may experience a little expansion, however, when you return to where left from it will most likely return to it's original state over time. I have gone down to Las Vegas to play...

Help identify maker (or brand name) of 2x2 hard "MADE IN CHINA" cue case?

The only thing I can tell you is that you are right the case was made in China. I have sold similar cases made both J&J America and Cue and case sales. They are not bad cases for the price, they sem to hold up pretty well.

    what is an implex joint???

Not sure what type of plastic was called Implex, however, I purchased my first cue from Paul Heubler around 1974 or 1975 and the material he was using at that time he called Implex. It seemed pretty durable for the time, I use to break with the cue and generally used it for almost 15 years. The...

I also doubt that anyone can find fault with it, and I am sorry if my comments have offended you. But I thought this thread was asking for opinions why this cue has not sold, and I offered mine according to what I believe. Again, sorry if my comments offended anyone but we have opinions and...

The gentleman asked for an opinion I gave one, I can't be anymore serious than that. Thanks for correcting my Grammar, I always can use advise in that department, but unless the spell check is wrong it can also be spelled like I used it in my post above. Have a great evening.

I think allot has to do with price. Like you said above it is close to Christmas and people do not want to spend a great deal of money for a simple Sneaky Pete. I think the cue you are offering looked nice, but to honest I thought the price was kinda high for a Sneaky Pete. I would say the same...

WRISTS - The "hidden power catalyst" of a great stroke or "just along for the ride"?

I have to agree, it seems for the most part that great players have many similar things in common as far as, the mechanical aspect of pool. Fundamentals are the strong base that allow everything else to fall in place.

Why do we use such larger tips than snooker players?

No they do not, while the tip may be 11.50mm the shaft itself is close to 13.00mm about an two Inches from the ferrule and it only gets larger from there. I have played 3-Cushion for many years and I have never seen the smaller shafts you are describing.

Why do we use such larger tips than snooker players?

Like I said above some people play well with a tiny shaft. Predator makes a small shaft with low deflection called the Z-Shaft. The Z-shaft is 11.75 mm, but the main reason that this will work is because the shaft is not a single piece. These shafts are a pie shaped laminated splice which makes...

WRISTS - The "hidden power catalyst" of a great stroke or "just along for the ride"?

Like Louie Roberts use to say when I was Kid in St. Louis, if you want action on the cue ball snap the wrist. I think the technique you are describing is very effective, thanks very much for taking the time to post it. I am certain that many will benefit from this thread if they take the time...

Why do we use such larger tips than snooker players?

That is a good observation, but look more closely and you will see that in most cases the shaft is not Maple. The typical wood used for a Snooker cue shaft is Ash, it is stiffer than Maple which allows the shaft to be turned to such a small diameter. Like another said, the shaft size / tip must...
