First of all the cue is not a Huebler cue from Paul’s custom shop, it’s a production model produced in the 1970s. As far as, the name goes, from time to time, you will find cues with the original owners name engraved in the butt cap, it’s not uncommon. Hope this helps👍

I would consider using a phenolic insert, it’s much more durable than the plastic Paul used. I use to put phenolic inserts in all the shafts I built.
