Thanks, I will do some more googling on that. That’s what I have to do because of my build. I have to turn before I get down to make sure my sight line remains on the shot line, and then work to make sure my forearm remains perpendicular from my elbow.

I’m no fan of Vegas either. This hotel looks pretty nice and the room rates aren’t bad ($250 night). And lots of other stuff to do in Orlando that’s not too expensive.

No such thing as bad publicity? No different than MLB or NFL from the gambling standpoint but you are right there are probably sponsorship limitations on alcohol, weed, and tobacco companies.

I think mosconi cup-type atmosphere, weed sponsorships, and real time betting on the next shot / rack / set are the future. Pool is an excellent betting game and has that advantage over many other niche sports.

I was impressed by Alcaide’s heart and attitude this week. I didn’t see or hear any complaints from him all week (he went 1-14) and basically was playing for the fans and the love of the game the last few days.
