Rip-off Report on Glen, The Real King Cobra "UPDATE"

Show me where I have defended this kind of behavior. I simply posted my experience with Glen and Diamond. Tell me... exactly what is your experience with either.

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

Dave - Just a thought... I believe at this point in time the list of table owners, their measurements, their factors and their TDFs are somewhat of a mish-mash of data generated by individuals applying different measuring processes. For example, FatBoy submitted his measurements and...

Rip-off Report on Glen, The Real King Cobra "UPDATE"

My dealings with Diamond and Glen have been very good. Several years ago I bought a tournament-used Pro Am from them and Glen delivered it out here to the Seattle area and set it up in my garage. The only minor hitch in that whole process was the date of delivery. I believe that Glen does his...

Checking progress with cue maker. How often?

My experience has been... take the original completion date estimate and triple it to establish a more likely completion date. Start calling/emailing a month or so before the originally-quoted completion date to find out what progress he's made. Can he show you anything in person? If you're...

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

SP - Based on your photo, it appears to me that the masking tape that you laid along the face of the subrails is off a bit... perhaps close to 1/8" where we can see the top of the red/brown subrails. Is that what you intended?

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

I understand. I'll check that out closely when I have my table re-covered and also have the rails re-calibrated. Best guess that will take place near Labor Day. I'll let you know what the story is then.

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

Here is the photo. Notice how the projection of the pocket facings are considerably inside the walls of the black pocket mouth, quite unlike yours.

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

I bought the table from Diamond as "Tournament Used" so I doubt that the pocket facings have been shimmed. Based on your description of how how corner pockets play, mine plays similarly. If you don't hit the pocket square, it may well rattle out of there. My table plays very tough imo... but...

Table Difficulty Factor (TDF) for measuring table "toughness"

Nicely done, oldschool. By comparison to your pocket throat dimension of 3.875", mine is 3.5" on my red-logo Diamond Pro Am. Although I haven't dimension-ed mine with auto-cad (don't have the software), I'll have to post a photo of mine later today. I just looked at a photo of my corner...

Rip-off Report on Glen, The Real King Cobra "UPDATE"

In my experience, Glen is an honest person. And FWIW, Glen is not an employee of Diamond so naming Diamond in your suit is a waste of time (based on what I know about Glen and Diamond's relationship).
