Saddens me to wake up to this very bad news. Even though we knew it was time it's hard to process for me. We had some great/funny times together, Danny, Freddy and I. R.I.P. Pal!

Sailor Barge was Mickey's (Mickey Carpinello) Mentor, Mickey in the 60's may have been the 'Best Unknown' player around the country! When He got off the drugs Very tough to beat! If you have Freddy the Beard's book, "The Encyclopedia of Pool Hustlers" He's in it.

And the results of those matches? Top flat-out speed for Jarvis playing 3C is around 0.700! BTW, I would give Jarvis 10-12 on 25. One other thing to mention, a player playing a weaker player in 3C that is 'Normally' a 0.800-0.900 player could average 1.3 'Some games' against 0.400-0.600 players!

    Shark Out of Water

Top 3C players can't hide/don't hide from testing their skills. Especially in that time frame and location of that room, only being 100 miles away from the Meca of 3C in the Midwest, Chris's Billiards. The guy I mentioned Dennis D. came/played in many events at Chris's and most definitely...

I highly doubt it! I would have been looking for a player like that, meaning the entire room would be looking to bet on him.

    Shark Out of Water

Classic New England 'Straight Pool style' stroke! Short effective, nothing fancy for the 70's cue games. Not down low on the cue like the present-day players, a between 3C height/Pool level over the cue. His 9-ball break wasn't Big, but could definitely get out if He made one.

    Shark Out of Water

I knew the 'Doggie' for over 30 years, He was Chicago's Pool scene ' Sad Sack'! A Great player from the New England area, born with one slight flaw, Addicted to Heroin! I always felt bad for Doggie, helped him out more times than I could count! He was essentially a decent/honorable Guy...

Thin blue nylon material. I and a partner of mine have over 115 years combined in the Cue games! We have Never seen an Adam 'Smooth black leather or the Dark Brown leather' case! Only in the 'Tan Vinyl'. Also, this case has Never had the 'Adam logo' on it. Which is always distinct on the Tan...
