    Sinuca Snobs

murphy and hendry saying that is the equivalent of earl or tony drago suggesting a 15 second shot clock. it would suit them well and give them an advantage they are larger than snooker balls

with the reservation of rumors of personal problems, i think he may be an example of someone 1) not successful in translating money match prowess to tournament play and 2) not playing well outside the islands. i've heard it said his homecourt table is sub 4" and in general trappy.. fun player tho.

    Sinuca Snobs

you didn't actually. shaun murphy, the most recent ranking event winner, has floated the same idea. i would be surprised if stephen hendry hasn't suggested it too at some point. runout players who loathe safety play back to (the contemporary) sinuca, i think those tables are tighter than...

    Sinuca Snobs

there was a brazilian snooker player in the 90's, igor figueredo, that was quite good. i think he's senior world champion now. but nowadays the term sinuca seems to be used interchangeably with sinuquinha, which has little to do with snooker. i guess the diminutive took over. they play barbox...

Pool Table Color Change - Wish It Wasn’t So……

yes, bonus ball had that grey color shown in OP's photos. it's lighter than simonis shark grey, and imo preferable. pool room i played in changed from that grey to crimson red cloth because they wanted to attract the party people. it was horrible. all it attracted to me was red chalk marks...

Pumped out 2 cues this week.

the bottom one makes me think of the ending in indiana jones and the last crusade, when indy identifies "the cup of a carpenter". that cue there is the cue of a lumberjack. i like it.

If a gun was put to your head to choose one player to pocket a difficult shot for you, who would you choose?

yes snooker wasn't doing too well in the early noughties, that's why quite a few played IPT and W9C. ronnie said recently that when he's done with snooker he will be a world champion in chinese 8-ball. that's delusional. both heyball, snooker and pool have professionalized on their respective...

is that mike panozzo? if so there's some credibility. that other guy named mike has some ground to cover for me to consider him a credible source. in the end MR, like the players, focus on the bottom line. and if you follow that rationale, putting up a weak field in the mosconi is bad business
