Wow. That was some match between Robbie and Fedor. Robbie hits 'em with eight racks in a row to lead 8-0 in a race to nine. It looks like it's all over.... but wait.... Fedor comes back with seven racks of his own to pull within one at 7-8.
Fedor makes a ball and begins another run out for hill-hill but misses a long two ball and Robbie closes the deal. Both players shot in the high 900's here. It was worthy of any final!

Robbie has had Fedor's number in 2025. He was the one who eliminated Fedor at the Florida Open, too. Robbie's runout skills are so elite that he is a threat to beat anybody and everybody in a big spot.
Look at all the new names on here. This was predictable with the advent of more big tournaments and the chance to win real money. Young athletes are starting to chose pool over other sports because they see a future in it.
Turns out that competition was good for the marketplace. Our sport is on the rise and new stars are emerging.

I wouldn’t get carried away, Jay! The most surprising name on that list is actually… Billy Thorpe. He’s never gone beyond the round of 32 in a big Matchroom event, and he only did that once.
Neuhausen is young, but he’s been well known for several years now and won the Premier League of Pool this year. Capito won the UK Open two years ago.
Capito and the Ko brothers have looked the best among this group.
Great chance for Sky to snap one off. He’s jumped into 4th in Mosconi points just ahead of Lukas Fracasso Verner.
Sky has looked good. Much better than the Florida and U.S. opens. He’s not been nonchalant at all.
The guy has great skills - we all know that. But he’s never won a major Matchroom title or World title.
He was a bit lucky to beat Edward Koyongian to get to the quarters. He made two careless positions errors and his safety execution was not great in the first two-thirds of the match. His execution was much better in the crunch.
He still needed Koyongian to scratch on the break when Koyongian was on the hill to pull it out.
If he tightens his game a bit more, he has a chance. Neuhausen next, then either Capito or Ko Pin Yi for a shot at the finals.

wonder if he's done some changes to his game. helluva tough field to advance through. sky in a QF is less surprising
